Totem poles are a form of art created by Canadian First Nations people. Stanley Park has many totem poles as well as a splendid seawall on which bicycles, rollerblades and joggers are permitted. The park is located at the western tip of the city and has been nicknamed the natural “jewel” of Vancouver.

Designated a national historic site of Canada, Stanley Park is a magnificent green oasis in the midst of the heavily built urban landscape of Vancouver. Vancouver has many fun evening activities ranging from meeting friends for coffee, shopping, going to a see a movie, watching a play, listening to symphony or a fun night at the many night clubs or pubs Vancouver has to offer. There are also great opportunities to watch professional sports; you could catch a hockey game with the famous Vancouver Canucks, soccer with the Vancouver Whitecaps or football with the BC Lions. The possibilities are endless.
